MPC & FSO – Mozart Requiem

This year the Mornington Peninsula Chorale & Frankston Symphony Orchestra return for their first joint performance since the Covid hiatus for a performance of Mozart’s Requiem. Mozart composed part of the Requiem in Vienna in late 1791, but it was unfinished at his death on 5th December the same year. The chorale and the orchestra look forward to bringing you the the completed version dated 1792 commissioned by Count Franz Joseph Walsegg who dedicated the piece to the death of his wife Anna at the age of 20.
